Lead Rotary Specialist Consultant - SEA/APAC - Project Based Opportunity at IMPAC Group

IMPAC Group, a multidiscipline organization in the Oil & Gas Energy supply sector, seeks experienced Lead Rotary Specialist Consultants for project-based assignments across Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. About the Role:
- Full-Time Position – Mainly office-based.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll work to enhance operational efficiency, improve safety, and help deliver cost-effective solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical expertise, and drive innovation across key projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert on-site technical assessments and troubleshooting for steam and gas turbines, including associated control systems.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and proposed solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute actively to project planning and budgeting, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing our service offerings and maintaining a competitive advantage.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, providing valuable insights and guidance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of large-scale industrial steam and gas turbines within the Oil & Gas sector, including experience with Siemens, GE, Alstom, Roll Royce, Ethos assets.
- Proficient in both oral and written Technical English.
- Proven track record of successfully troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in demanding environments.
- Deep understanding of turbine control systems and relevant software (e.g., Siemens PCS7, GE Mark VIe, data analysis software such as MATLAB and Python).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills; ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
- Proficiency in data analysis software.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the SEA/APAC region.

We are seeking a Country Director who is passionate and skilled to lead the growth of a dynamic professional team in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact between IMPAC and local stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and partners. Develop and execute strategic plans to promote wind energy and the group’s offerings/initiatives in the Philippines. Lead project management efforts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services. Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in the energy sector, with a focus on wind energy. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and policies related to energy in the Philippines.

Experience:
Minimum of 8 years in a managerial or representative role within the energy or engineering consultancy industry. Demonstrated success in project management and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Documentation Controller / PA to Country Director

We are looking for a Documentation Controller / PA to the Country Director to support our operations in the Philippines.

Location: Manila, Philippines
Start Date: TBC February 2025
Duration: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize all documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IMPAC Group standards. Assist the Country Director with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and maintaining correspondence. Implement and maintain effective filing systems for both electronic and paper documents. Support the preparation of presentations and documentation for stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a documentation control or administrative role, preferably in the energy sector.

Certifications:
Certification in document management or administrative support is an advantage.

Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
